Noni's Birthday

Jakob went to visit Noni for her 60th birthday this past weekend, arriving for a surprise visit on February 24th, the same day as his 7 month birthday.  It was a great visit and Lito found Jakob's funny bone.  Unfortunately, I missed out on getting a picture of Jakob and Noni on their birthdays. :(

Mardi Gras

Today is Mardi Gras and Jakob could stand to munch on a few donuts and king cakes to gain some "gras".  He finally made it up to 11 lbs 8 oz!  This is a picture from last Thursday, February 16th after a long day at daycare.  His newest thing is pulling his hat down over his face.

We realized over the weekend that we weren't getting too many pictures with Jakob--just him alone, so Mom got her first picture since the new year started and we'll have to do better taking family shots.  The one of Jakob with Daddy is from January 8th-a relaxing Sunday afternoon in bed!

Our Little Monkey

Although bouncing in the bouncy seat is still a favorite, Jakob has started playing with the toys with his feet.  He also holds his feet up in the bath tub, out of the water.  Guess it won't be long before he's eating his feet.

 

1st Attempt at Crawling

On February 1st, Jakob was attempting to crawl during his tummy time.  Although he isn't going very far, he's at least got the idea down.  Just needs to get a little stronger and lift that head up!
