McClain Visit

From April 9th through 12th, Mom and Jakob enjoyed a visit to Georgia to see the McClains.  We had a blast!  Jakob enjoyed the plane ride to New Orleans and then to Birmingham and the 2 hour drive from Birmingham to Rome.  He was amazingly well-behaved!  Jakob loved playing with his cousins.  On Wednesday, we went on a bike ride at Berry College and then played at the park.  On Thursday, we played at the mall and then had some fun times outside.  On Friday, we took a creative movement class with MOPS.  Jakob wasn't too interested in the movements but seemed to like the hula hoops.

Easter

Jakob had a lot of fun on Easter.  We enjoyed a beautiful, sunny day with an Easter egg hunt after church.  We drove to Nana and PaPa's for an afternoon of finding little trinkets and snacks inside the Easter eggs.  Jakob had fun finding and opening all of the eggs, as well as running around outside.

March Madness

March was a crazy month with Mom's work schedule and the ridiculous weather!  Some days we enjoyed the 60 degree sunny days at the playground and other days we enjoyed shoveling 10 inches of snow.  All in all, it was a great month for Jakob.

March 9th was a warm day so we enjoyed playing in the garage and then on the playground.  He even said "play".  He had fun going down the slide with Mom and Dad, over and over again! Nana and Papa also came for a visit to the playground.

Jakob has become Daddy's helper by watering the plants.  When Mom said, "Do you want to help Daddy water", he went to get the milk jug from under the sink.  He knows the drill!

On St. Patrick's Day, we all dressed in green.  Mom made some shamrock green pancakes for breakfast.  He also managed to get all body parts right when we were reading his "Where Is Baby's Belly Button" book.

On March 24th, we had the biggest snow storm in a long time with almost 10 inches of snow!  It also happened to be the day for Brady's (Jakob's friend) birthday party at the Magic House.  We managed to get there despite the snow and Jakob had a blast!  Of course, he couldn't resist shoveling after we got home.
