June brought about warmer temps and the first "true" experience at the beach. It was a long drive but Jakob did great on the way down (a long day and then a shorter day). He and Mom had fun playing in the car. The ride back (about 12 hours) was a little bit more challenging. He was really happy to get home and run around! At the beach, Jakob wasn't sure about the sand at first but he finally got into it on Friday. He is talking a lot now with many new words to add to his vocabulary each day.
